PROCESS

1

Speak with your physician

Alabama patients wishing to seek Medical Cannabis must first have been diagnosed with one of the 15 qualifying conditions by their ongoing physician. Their physician will also need to submit documentation that includes a physical exam, documentation that conventional treatments have been attempted, and a treatment plan.

2

Enter the Patient Registry

Patients will need to sign a consent form and enter the Alabama patient registry after speaking with their doctor. The patient will also need to pay a $65 fee to the state for the registry identification card.

3

Pickup your medicine

Once a patient receives their card in the mail, they can visit any Alabama dispensary to pick up their Medical Cannabis.
